Dr Zerrin Ertekin was born in İstanbul in 1971. She has got two daughters who study in dentistry, too. She has her own ethics code in the clinic ‘Whenever a patient comes back to the Apex with a pleased and adorable smile, she strongly believes that she is in the right path in her life and her job, too. She qualified with a bachelor’s degree in dentistry from the well-renowned Ankara University in 1993. It was three years later in 1996, when the highly skilled dentistry expert founded Apex Dental Turkey with her husband.
She has over 28 years’ worth of experience that focuses on comprehensive dental care. She is a specialist in all areas of dentistry, specialising in root canal treatment, composite bonding, veneers and crowns, treatment for periodontal and endodontic issues, gum disease. Furthermore, Dr Ertekin is also extensively trained in a number of cosmetic procedures including Botolinum Toxin treatment and wrinkle therapy,PRP, Mesotherapy and Aesthetic Dermal Filling, making her one of the few dentists in Antalya able to ultimately create a full youthful appearance to her patients.
She is certificated from DENTSPLY Frialit Implant Systems Course which is concentrated on the topics of dental implants and implant retained prosthesis in 1999 and ‘Ultra dent Opalescence Bleaching’ training programme which is focused on teeth whitening in 2010.
Throughout her career, Dr Ertekin has gained a reputation for making patients feel comfortable with her gentle, considerate and empathetic approach, particularly with anxious patients or the people who have dental phobia.
Until today, she has attended so many national and international courses, symposiums and programmes to keep up with the most modern techniques and innovations in dentistry.
